Thermoelectric Central Control Course: MF1199_3 Start, stop maneuvers control and anomalous situations in thermoelectric plants

In the field of energy and water, it is necessary to know the different fields of operation management in thermoelectric plants, within the professional area of electricity. Thus, with this course it is intended to provide the necessary knowledge to control the operating maneuvers in thermoelectric plants during the starting, stop processes and in abnormal situations of operation.

- Control the alignment and preparation of the equipment and systems so that the starting and stop processes in thermoelectric plants are carried out with criteria of efficiency, reliability, and safety for people, environment and facilities. - Supervise the operating maneuvers in the starting and stop processes in thermoelectric plants to be performed with reliability and safety criteria for people, environment and facilities. - Collaborate in the operating maneuvers carried out from the control room of the Central, under the supervision of the person in charge of operation or shift head. - Act according to established protocols in unforeseen or anomalous situations to restore the stable operation condition or ensure the commissioning of emergencies. - Adopt and enforce the protection, safety and risk prevention measures required in the operations in thermoelectric plants and during the starting, stop and in abnormal situations of operation, according to security plans, guaranteeing the integrity of people, the media and their environment.

It develops its professional activity in the area or department of production of companies dedicated to the thermoelectric generation through thermal power plants of coal, gas, diesel, biomass and other fuels, including facilities of thermosolar power generation and cogeneration.

This formation is adjusted to the training itinerary of the MF1199_3 formative module control of starting, stop and anomalous situations in thermoelectric plants, certifying having exceeded the different competence units included in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through work experience and non -formal training, via which you will opt for to obtain the corresponding certificate of the corresponding certificate of Professionalism, through the respective calls that are publishing the different autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This course is aimed at the professionals of the world of energy and water, specifically in operation management in thermoelectric plants, within the professional and water professional area, and to all those people interested in controlling the operating maneuvers in thermoelectric plants during the starting, stop and in abnormal situations of operation.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
