Summary

Eating disorders are characterized by serious alterations of eating behavior. With this postgraduate degree in treatment of eating disorders, the student will learn to treat these eating disorders and to solve the different problems that may arise in patients who suffer from it.

Goals

- Define nutritional needs in the different stages of life, physiological states and more common diseases on which a nutritional intervention can improve diagnosis. - Present the importance of nutritional education as a generator of healthy food guidelines. - Offer the necessary knowledge to participate in the planning of balanced menus in its energy and nutritional contribution for communities. - Know and value different eating disorders. Anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa and obesity. - Provide the necessary knowledge to develop an adequate food plan for people suffering from initial eating disorders that do not carry associated pathologies. - Establish the basis of a balanced diet and learn the basic concepts that allow to follow healthy eating habits. - Learn what are the main intervention strategies with adolescents who present eating disorders.
