UF0077 COURSE OF MANAGEMENT OF INFORMATION AND TOURIST DISTRIBUTION UNITS

At present, in the world of hospitality and tourism, it is very important to know the different local tourist promotions and information to the visitor. Therefore, with this course it is about providing the necessary knowledge to know the processes of management of tourism information and distribution units.

- Analyze the function and process of business or institutional planning and define plans that are adequate for information units or tourist offer distribution. - Analyze budget management and control within the framework of travel agencies, other tourist distributors and tourist information entities, identify costs and develop economic budgets that allow establishing action programs. - Analyze organizational and functional structures of different types of tourist distributors and tourist information entities, and their internal and external relations environment, justifying organizational structures and type of relationships appropriate to each type of company or entity. - Analyze the methods for the definition of jobs and selection of appropriate personnel for distribution companies and tourist information entities, critically comparing them. - Analyze the functions of integration and management of personnel, using applicable techniques in tourist information and distribution units.

It develops its activity, fundamentally, in public or public-private entities whose purpose is the planning and territorial tourism development. It exercises its functions as contact personnel with the users of the service or in supervised management positions, depending on the size and complexity of the structure in which it is integrated, or for which it works from the private company.

This training is adjusted to the training itinerary of the UF0077 training unit Management processes of tourism information and distribution certifying having exceeded the different competence units included, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through the work experience and non -formal training, via which you will choose to obtain the corresponding certificate of professionalism, through the respective calls The different autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This course is aimed at all those who are dedicated to the world of hospitality and tourism, more specifically to tourism promotion and who intend to obtain knowledge related to the management processes of tourism information and distribution units.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
