UF0733 Ecology and Landscape Interpretation Course

In the field of security and environment, it is necessary to know the different fields of environmental interpretation and education, within the professional area of environmental management. Thus, with this course it is intended to provide the necessary knowledge related to the ecology and interpretation of the landscape.

- Describe the structure and functioning of ecosystems. - Relate basic concepts of systems theory. - Determine the main characteristics of the different means of biotypes. - Analyze the distribution of species and specific wealth. - Identify possible irregularities in the distribution of species and groups through the different indices. - Relate basic concepts of systems theory. - Know the cycles of matter. - Calculate energy flows. - Identify chains and trophic networks. - Know the different methodological bases and sampling statistics techniques. - Understand the functioning and dynamics of populations. - Know the life cycle of matter and living beings. - Analyze the growth models of a population. - Interpret the concepts of mutualism and ecological niche and determine its importance. - Recognize the different basic types of ecosystems at different levels. - Interpret how the climate has influenced the place. - Recognize animal signals and fingerprints. - Interpret aerial photographs of the place in time. - Recognize anthropic elements.

Security and Environment professionals who develop their professional activity both on their own and integrated into companies, public or private, dedicated to conducting interpretation and environmental education studies or informing about the environment and its values.

This training is adjusted to the training itinerary of the Formative Unit UF0733 Ecology and interpretation of the landscape, certifying having overcome the different competence units included in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through the work experience and the non -formal training, via which will choose to obtain the corresponding certificate of professionalism, through the respective calls Different Autonomous Communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This course is aimed at the professionals of the world of security and the environment, specifically to the interpretation and environmental education, within the professional area of environmental management, and to all those interested in acquiring knowledge related to the ecology and the interpretation of the landscape, as well as the dynamics of populations and the identification of the flows of matter and energy that occur in the different ecosystems.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
