In the field of arts and crafts, it is necessary to know the different fields of artisanal pottery, within the professional area of artisanal glass and ceramics. Thus, this course is intended to provide the necessary knowledge for the elaboration of artisanal pottery products through rolls, plates and potter's lathe.

- Apply mud kneading techniques and procedures, manually and mechanically, with safety and quality criteria. - Apply the techniques of rolls and plates in the configuration of simple artisanal pottery parts, from previously prepared mud pellets, adjusting to the specified dimensions and forms, with quality and safety criteria. - Apply the modeling technique of artisanal pottery pieces by means of lathe, from previously prepared mud pellets, adjusting to the specified dimensions and shapes, with quality and safety criteria. - Apply criteria and procedures of order, cleaning and maintenance of materials, facilities and auxiliary media of the area of elaboration of pottery parts through rolls, plates and lathe.

He develops his artisanal activity as an independent professional in his own workshop, carrying out his own jobs, or orders for other workshops. You can also develop your trade in small or medium ceramic workshops, acting as a dependent worker in the area of production execution, carrying out their work within the framework of the functions and objectives assigned by higher level technicians to theirs and coordinating small working groups.

This formation conforms to the training itinerary of the Formative Unit UF1236 Preparation of artisanal pottery products through rolls, plates and potter's lathe.
