UF1264 COURSE Reforestation and hydrological restoration

In the field of security and environment, it is necessary to know the different fields of control and protection of the natural environment, within the professional area of environmental management. Thus, this course is intended to adopt the necessary knowledge for the reforestation and hydrological restoration.

- Identify and interpret a forest repopulation project or plan. - Analyze the different parts that make up a reforestation project or technical plan, explaining the meaning of each and its contents. - Interpret the information contained in the plans. - Extrapolar the Environmental Impact Declaration to works planning. - Describe the different phases of a forest repopulation work, explaining its objectives, techniques, procedures and resources used during the execution of each one. - Identify the main forest species, explaining their implications in forest repopulation. - Identify the negative environmental impacts that may occur during the different phases of the forest repopulation work, describing the systems and techniques to minimize and/or correct them. - Supervise the work done and propose solutions when required. - Check that current legislation and occupational risk prevention measures are fulfilled. Explain the different techniques of hydrological-forest correction and supervise the works planned in a hydrological-forest correction project. - Explain the relationship between relief, plant cover and soil erosion. - Explain the main techniques used in the recovery of degraded vegetation. - Identify the phases of a work of recovery of riparia vegetation, explaining its objectives and the techniques, procedures and material means used during its execution. - Recognize the structure of a forest hydrological correction project. - Identify and implement the specific regulations corresponding to the execution of hydrological basket correction projects as well as supervise compliance. - Describe the constructive details of the longitudinal and transverse works used in the correction of channels. - Explain the techniques and methods of defense against avalanches. - Identify the techniques and procedures of the work done more convenient to each phase of the hydrological-forest correction project. - Analyze the different situations of labor risk during the execution of the hydrological-forest correction works, interpreting the Occupational Risk Prevention Plan and the Safety Plan of the Work. - Identify the negative environmental impacts that may occur during the different phases of the forest repopulation work, describing the systems and techniques to minimize and/or correct them. - Control hydrological-forest correction work, supervising the work done and proposing solutions when required. - Check that current legislation is fulfilled and occupational risk prevention measures are respected.

It develops its professional activity in public administration and private sector companies, in the area of road and industrial cleanliness. It is integrated into work teams and depends functionally on the responsible superior.

This formation conforms to the training itinerary of the Formative Unit UF1264 Reforestation and Hydrological Restoration. Certifying having exceeded the different units of competence included, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through work experience and non -formal training, via which will opt for obtaining the corresponding certificate of professionalism, through the respective calls that are publishing the different autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023 It develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This course is aimed at professionals in the world of security and environment, specifically in control and protection of the natural environment, within the professional area of environmental management, and to all those interested in acquiring knowledge related to hydrological reforestation and restoration.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
