Summary

The main objective of this course is to provide students with the necessary knowledge to plan and supervise the activities related to the phases of the fattening of aquaculture species and organize the prevention and treatment of pathologies, managing the resources available to achieve the required quality of the product, respecting the regulations for the prevention of risks and environment.

Goals

- Develop health prevention protocols taking into account the characteristics of the species and culture phase. - Develop a vaccination program based on the culture species and pathologies susceptible to treatment. - Determine prevention treatments other than vaccines, depending on the species and cultivation system.

This formation is adjusted to the training itinerary of the Formative Unit UF1387 Planning of prevention in the process of fattening of aquaculture species, certifying having overcome the different competence units included in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through the work experience and the non -formal training, via which it will opt for obtaining the corresponding certificate of professionalism, through the respective Calls that are publishing the different autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

Who is it addressed to?

This course is aimed at all those of the Maritime and Fisheries sector who, for their occupational occupation or personal interest, intends to acquire the appropriate knowledge to carry out the activities related to the phases of the fattening of aquaculture species respecting the regulations for the prevention of risks and environment.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD).
