UF1580 previous operations and protection equipment necessary in the works with rock tunneladoras

In the world of extractive industries it is necessary to know the different fields in excavations. Thus, this course is intended to provide the necessary knowledge for risk prevention in excavations with Tunnelador, focusing on the preventive and correction measures of the machinery used as well as the individual and collective equipment necessary to perform this type of construction work.

- Use specific individual protective equipment for advancement with rock tunneladoras, identifying the different types of workplace. - Identify the specific risks of excavation with rock tunneladoras, relating them to the corresponding preventive measures. - Recognize individual protective equipment to be used in excavation operations with rock tunneladoras based on risks. - Identify the collective protection equipment incorporated in the rock tunneladoras. - Establish the correct operation and maintenance of individual and collective protective equipment to be used in excavation operations with rock tunneladoras, according to the manufacturer's use manual.

He develops his professional activity as a worker on behalf of others in the area of production of public or private companies of small, medium or large size, dedicated to open or underground excavations, with use or not of the excavated materials. He performs support and auxiliary activities, fulfilling orders from the higher level operators and technicians, of which he will receive the instructions and to which he will report. Exploitation workers must be previously instructed on the general safety and specific standards of their job.

This training is adjusted to the UF1580 training itinerary and protection equipment necessary in the work with rock tunnels, certifying having exceeded the different competence units included, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through the work experience and the non -formal training, via which will opt for obtaining the corresponding certificate of professionalism, through the respective calls They are publishing the different autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This course is aimed at professionals in the world of extractive industries, specifically in the area of excavations, and to all those interested in acquiring knowledge related to risk prevention in underground and open -pit excavations.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
