UF2104 Course Adaptation, Modification and Replacement of Jewelry Elements

In the field of arts and crafts, it is necessary to know the different fields of jewelry repair, within the professional area of jewelry and goldsmiths. Thus, this course is intended to provide the necessary knowledge for the adaptation, modification and replacement of jewelry elements.

- Determine intervention techniques, interpreting information contained in the reception envelope of the jewelry piece to be repaired, and organizing repair operations (preparation, adaptation, modification and/or replacement) of jewelry elements. - Apply measurement techniques, disoldado, cut, metal contribution, modeling and union of jewelry elements, with precious metals, handling tools and tools, attending to the characteristics of the element to be repaired, complying with the regulations for prevention of occupational hazards and environmental protection. - Apply assembly and union assembly techniques through cold welding and glue, in the adaptation and modification of jewelry elements, handling tools and tools, attending to the characteristics of the element to be repaired, complying with the regulations for prevention of occupational hazards and environmental protection. - Apply accounts and enfield techniques, handling tools and tools, attending to the characteristics of the element to be repaired, complying with the regulations for the prevention of occupational hazards and environmental protection.

He develops his professional activity in companies and/or jewelry workshops dedicated to jewelry repair. It works on their own, under the supervision of a hierarchical superior, or on its own.

This formation is adjusted to the training itinerary of the Formative Unit UF2104 Adaptation, modification and replacement of jewelry elements, certifying having overcome the different competition units included, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through the work experience and non -formal training, via which will choose to obtain the corresponding certificate of professionalism, through the respective calls Publishing the different autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This course is aimed at professionals in the world of arts and crafts, specifically in the repair of jewelry, within the professional area of jewelry and goldsmiths, and all those interested in acquiring knowledge related to repairing jewelry elements.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
