UF2346 Course Extinction of urban and industrial fires. Interior fire extinction

In the field of the world of safety and environment, it is necessary to know the different fields of fire extinguishing and rescue, within the professional area security and prevention. Thus, with this course it is intended to provide the necessary knowledge for the extinction of urban and industrial fires and the extinction of interior fires.

- Perform the preparation, commissioning and basic maintenance of the equipment and tools used in the interventions, checking their correct operation and operability, according to safety standards. - Make the transfer to the place of the fire, defining the tasks of the equipment during the intervention and placing vehicles with security and precision, according to a defined attack plan. - Perform fire intervention in the presence of electricity, valuing its causes and possible risks to intervention, carry out the operations with security and check the restoration of normality at the end of the intervention. - Intervene in the control and extinction of interior fires, assess the information obtained to define the access of interveners and resources and adapt the attack plan by applying techniques and procedures with security and verifying the complete extinguishing of the fire. - Intervene in the control and extinction of industrial fires, collecting technical information on potential facilities and risks, defining the intervention and safety tasks of the equipment, carrying out the operations with security and verifying the extinction of the causes of the fire.

It develops its professional activity in firefighters dedicated to fire extinction and rescue throughout the national territory, as a worker dependent on public administrations (state, regional and local), as well as, medium and large companies, being able to exercise international collaboration actions.

This formation conforms to the training itinerary of the Formative Unit UF2346 Extinction of urban and industrial fires. Extingion of interior fires, certifying having exceeded the different competence units included, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through work experience and non -formal training, via which will opt for obtaining the corresponding certificate of professionalism, through the respective calls that are publishing the different autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor of Labor (Royal Decree Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This course is aimed at professionals in the world of safety and environment, specifically in fire and rescue extinction, within the professional area of security and prevention, and all those interested in acquiring knowledge related to the extinction of urban and industrial fires and the extinction of interior fires.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
