UF2533 Meteorology applied to the navigation and management of nautical vessels and motorcycles for aquatic lifeguard

In the maritime fishing field, it is necessary to know the different fields of the government of nautical vessels and motorcycles for aquatic lifeguard, within the professional area fishing and navigation. Thus, with this course it is intended to provide the necessary knowledge to execute specific techniques of motor vessels and nautical motorcycles for aquatic lifeguard.

- Interpret the weather variables, environment conditions and their variability to decide the intervention following emergency plans and established protocols. - Interpret the meteorological information obtained from coastal stations to know the time of time and their influence on navigation.

It develops its professional activity as an autonomous or on behalf of rescue teams, lifeguard equipment, aquatic intervention units, both in the public sphere, non -governmental organizations, foundations, associations, as well as in private entities, whether large, medium or small businesses that offer sports, help and active tourism services. Its activity is carried out in port services companies, in municipalities, federations, sports and sports and leisure associations, tourism companies, hotels, camping, spas, camps, infrastructure maintenance companies and/or sports management, under the supervision of a technical superior and collaborating with other technicians. Its professional activity is subject to regulation by the competent administration. In the development of professional activity, universal accessibility principles are applied in accordance with current legislation.

This formation is adjusted to the training itinerary of the Formative Unit UF2533 Meteorology applied to the navigation and management of nautical vessels and motorcycles destined to the aquatic lifeguard certifying having exceeded the different competition units included in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through the work experience and of the non -formal training, by which it will opt for the corresponding certificate. of professionalism, through the respective calls that are publishing the different autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This set of didactic materials is adjusted to what is stated in the learning itinerary belonging to the UF2533 Formative Unit. 988/2013, of December 13, which allows students to acquire the professional competences necessary to execute specific engine boat government techniques and nautical motorcycles aimed at aquatic help.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
