UF2695 Course Knowledge and elaboration of service dog training programs for people with physical disabilities

In the field of sociocultural services and the community, it is necessary to know the different fields of instruction of assistance dogs, within the professional area of consumer service. Thus, this course is intended to provide the necessary knowledge for knowledge and elaboration of service dog training programs for people with physical disabilities.

- Analyze and relate the characteristics that allow the person's unity with physical disabilities and the service dog taking into account the prevention of hazards, the identification of risk and the well -being of the service dog. - Determine specific training programs of the service dog meeting the needs of people with physical disabilities to attend their user or user in help to mobility and personal autonomy taking into account the prevention of hazards, the identification of risks and the well -being of the dog. - Design dissemination activities of the tasks of the service dog (presentation, exhibition, informative talk, round table, among others) in public and private events, taking into account the prevention of hazards, the identification of risks and animal welfare.

It develops its professional activity both on its own and of others, within the scope of the entities related to the training of assistance dogs. Its activity, generally, performs autonomously under the supervision of a superior person. In the development of professional activity, universal accessibility principles are applied in accordance with current legislation.

This training adjusts to the training itinerary of the Formative Unit UF2695 Knowledge and elaboration of training dogs programs for people with physical disabilities certifying having exceeded the different competence units included in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through the work experience and the non -formal training, via which you will choose to obtain the corresponding certificate of professionalism, through the corresponding certificate of professional respective calls that are publishing the different autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This course is aimed at the professionals of the world of sociocultural services and the community, specifically in instruction of assistance dogs, within the professional area of consumer service, and to all those interested in acquiring knowledge knowledge and elaboration of programs for training programs for service dogs for people with physical disabilities.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
