UF2809 Course: UF2809 Organization of the Workshop in Preprint Processes

In the field of graphic arts, it is necessary to know the different fields of production management in predimpression processes, within the professional area. Thus, with this course it is intended to provide the necessary knowledge to organize and supervise production in the predimpression processes.

- Analyze the different phases or stages in predimpression processes, valuing the specific operations to be carried out in each of them, taking into account the typology of the equipment and machines used and the final destination of the works. - Determine the suitability of the different programs or software used in the predimpression processes, considering their characteristics and technical possibilities according to the different tasks to be performed. - Evaluate the technical possibilities and production capabilities of the machines and equipment used in the predimpression processes considering the preparation time, the personnel necessary for its operation, the production speed or other variables that intervene.

It develops its professional activity in the graphic industry, in private or public predimpression companies. In small, medium or large companies, with very diverse organizational/technological levels. It is integrated into a work team where it develops individual and team tasks. He performs his work as an independent technician or as an intermediate command that organizes and directs the work of a technical team in his charge, assuming collaboration functions in the management of environmental security and prevention, being able to perform, among them those of basic level of occupational risk prevention. It depends hierarchically on the Director of Production and/or the Company Manager.

This formation adjusts to the training itinerary of the Formative Unit UF2809 Organization of the workshop in pre -protest processes, belonging to the MF1678_3 Formative Module, 3 Obtaining the corresponding certificate of professionalism, through the respective calls that are publishing the different autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This course is aimed at the professionals of the world of graphic arts, specifically in production management in predimpression processes, within the professional predimpression area, and to all those interested in acquiring necessary knowledge to organize and supervise production in the predimpression processes.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
