Summary

With this course in computer science and forensic analysis, you will work in a fundamental area in an increasingly digitized and vulnerable world to cyber attacks. This course offers you from the most basic as knowledge about computer science explaining cyberspace and cybersecurity. Also fundamentals of connectivity and the Internet, deepen the aspect of cybersecurity such as forensic computer science and electronics, cybercriminality, ethical hacking and security management systems that we can use in systems. It will also investigate the forensic analysis as an essential matter to extraction and analysis of data within a system to detect in case the possible causes of this, among other things. In addition, you will have a teaching team specialized in the field.

Goals

- Understand the components and structure of a computer system, as well as the most common peripherals and operating systems. - Know the concepts, objectives and uses of forensic computer science, as well as the role of the computer expert and the functioning of a forensic laboratory. - Identify the risks and threats of cybersecurity and understand the lines of action and the role of the National Cybersecurity Institute. - Distinguish different types of computer crime and understand the nature and scope of cybercriminality. - Explore ethical hacking, its legal aspects and the profiles of hackers, including hacktivism. - Dominate the stages, types of analysis and requirements of the forensic analysis, as well as the acquisition of data and the recovery of deleted files. - Acquire knowledge about information security, basic principles, the selection of controls and security management systems.

You can also work in computer security companies or companies that require protecting their sensitive information and require cybersecurity services to put this type of measures.
