Thanks to this in progress in update in dietotherapy you can know first hand all the ins and outs of specialized dietary in order to improve the nutritional status of people in some of the most common pathologies in clinical practice. It is important that we know the complications that these pathologies and their treatment can carry in the patient. Dietotherapy studies how through a study of the nutritional needs of the population we can carry out a structuring of specialized diets to improve the well -being and quality of life of people improving their nutritional status and preventing possible complications by the pathology itself.

The professional outputs of this course in diet therapy are those of health professional in specialized centers for patient health care: dietary, nutrition, pharmacies, dietary consultations, health centers, hospital. Also for professionals of residences or working with dependent people in social institutions.

With this course in Dietotherapy update you will have the possibility of learning and adopting the necessary competences to elaborate and/or supervise the food that people receive in different physiological and pathological states, thus providing specific food recommendations to supervise an improvement of the state of health and their food as a prevention of complications associated with malnutrition or poor nutrition.

This course is aimed especially at nurses/physiotherapists/dietitians, nutritionists, although it is a degree within the teachings of the university that does not enable for professional practice, so according to article 37.7 of Royal Decree 822/2021, of September 28, which establishes the organization of university teachings and the procedure for assuring their quality for the degrees encompassed within the teachings Own who do not require prior university degree for access to them, the purpose of them is the extension and update of knowledge, competencies and training or professional skills that contribute to a better labor insertion of citizens and citizens without university degree, so it will be open to every person without access university degrees of access to carrying it out.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD).
